I could not agree with this quote by the lovely Coco Chanel any more than I allready do. I hear people all the time making comments about how style is meaningless & people should not waste their time thinking of such ideas.I am not saying what you wear is the most important thing and should take up all of your time. What I am saying is that it does have meaning. And when I look at those same people who talk badly of fashion, I notice that in their own way they are more times than not following a trend. Wheather they are sporting this years popular color of green or perhaps a cute pair of quilted ballet flats... it all started on the runway.
If those same people would look through history books, fashion and style have always been there, always evolving and always changing into what it is today-and what it will be tomorrow. What we wear has been important for a very long time. It is how we express ourselves and how we want the world to see us.
I know this is not like my usual post, but it is something I had to say.
